This Privacy Policy explains how Sijil (“the Service”, “we”, “us”), operated by iDeveloprs, collects, uses, and protects your information. Sijil is a private, invitation-based application used by organizations to manage their export and import trade documents. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name and email address, provided either directly (email & password) or through Google or Microsoft sign-in.
• Content you add. The categories, records, reference numbers, notes, and files (such as PDFs and images) you upload to organize your documents.
• Authentication data. Session information and, if you enable it, passkey credentials (a public key and identifier — never your biometrics, which stay on your device).
• Technical & security data. Log data such as IP address and timestamps, and an audit trail of create/edit/delete actions, used to keep the Service secure and accountable.

How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To authenticate you and enforce the access permissions set by your administrator.
• To keep an audit trail and protect the Service against abuse and unauthorized access.
• To communicate with you about your account or important service changes.

Signing in with Google or Microsoft

When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive only your basic profile (name and email address) to create and identify your account. We do not access your contacts, files, mail, or any other data, and we never post or act on your behalf. Your use of those providers is also governed by their own privacy policies.

Where your data is stored

The Service is delivered through trusted infrastructure providers acting as our processors: Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare R2 (encrypted file storage), Vercel (application hosting), and, only where you enable PDF compression, iLovePDF. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Access controls

Access to documents is restricted by row-level security and per-user permissions and category scopes. New accounts start with no access until an administrator grants it. Only authorized users within your organization can view content they have been granted.

Data retention & your rights

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or the closure of your account, by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for security or legal reasons.

Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
